About Us

Welcome to our homestay, brought to life by the passion and vision of Mr. Tues Rahman, a celebrated wildlife photographer and conservationist. With a career spanning over a decade, Mr. Rahman has earned prestigious accolades, including Photographer of the Year (Wildlife Category) in 2012, and the Best Wildlife Shots Award from the National Geographic Society in 2008. His dedication to preserving nature is further reflected in his award-winning documentary on rhinos and their habitats, which earned the title of Documentary of the Year (BBC, 2008), as well as his recognition for capturing the Best Photos of Tigers with Their Habitat at Kaziranga National Park in 2010. In 2012, his contributions as a Cinematographer for Wildlife Conservation were honored by the Natural History Museum.

Mr. Rahman’s commitment to the environment extends beyond the lens. He has enriched the homestay grounds by planting numerous trees and cultivating a diverse range of flowers, creating a sanctuary that mirrors his love for nature.
